- Cap your seeded volume at 8 to 12 entries per ASIN. Beyond that, the listing starts to look engineered and Amazon's review-and-Q&A authenticity systems can flag the activity.
The compounding effect is real. Listings with comprehensive Q&A coverage do not just win Rufus spec queries — they often win comparison and use-case queries because Rufus pulls Q&A content into broader answers as supporting evidence.
A+ Comparison Modules: The Pattern That Works
A+ Premium comparison modules are the single most retrieved A+ content type in Rufus answers we have measured. The brands that win here use a specific pattern: comparisons that include category alternatives, not just brand variants. A four-column comparison module that pits your standard, your premium, your competitor's mid-tier, and your competitor's premium against each other — with feature rows showing where each lands — gets retrieved repeatedly across "is X better than Y" questions.
The technical detail that matters: Rufus reads structured table content with much higher reliability than free-form A+ text. Use the actual comparison module template Amazon provides in A+ Premium rather than a free-form image with a comparison embedded in the graphic. Image-based comparisons are essentially invisible to Rufus.
Review Prompt Engineering for Use-Case Specificity
Reviews are Rufus's primary trust signal, but generic five-star reviews provide almost no Rufus value.
